The introductory part thoroughly covers the chemical composition of the medicinal plants, the method of collecting, drying and the applications. The second part gives a description and good drawing in color of the plant, the site, application etc. A collection calendar and register of diseases and medicines are included. The choice of words is rather difficult, especially the first part assumes a reasonable chemical/biological basic knowledge. Useful to gain a broader knowledge of medicinal herbs, but not as a 'recipe book' for compiling vegetable medicines.
